Introduction and Purpose: Cystic Ekinokokcosis (KE) is a parasitic disease that is commonly seen in the world and in our country. This study aims to retrospective assessment of the results of the test of indirect hemaglutination (IHA) test in the serums of patients who are sent to the Erzurum Regional Education and Research Hospital Microbiology Laboratory with KE suspect. Method and Requirements: Between January 2008 and December 2016, the test results of 3771 patients sent to our laboratory were retrospective. Results: Serum samples obtained from patients were tested using the IHA method.1/160 and above results were positively evaluated.The total of 3,771 patients involved in the study, 530 (14,05) IHA test results were positive. Of the 530 patients positively evaluated, 310 (58.49) were women and 220 (41.51%) men. The number of positive phenomena was found to be the highest in the age groups of 25-49 (43.21%) and the lowest in the age groups of 0-14 (10.75%). RELATED AND RESULTATED: There is a higher IHA positive rate in women and there is a higher positive rate in the middle age group without a gender distinction.
