Değer kavramı son dönemde oldukça güncel bir kavram haline gelmiştir. Güç ve maddiyatın hüküm sürdüğü günümüz dünyasında, değer diye nitelenebilecek ne varsa bunlar insanoğlu tarafından ikinci plana atılmakta ve hatta yok sayılmaktadır. Bunun neticesinde sonu gelmeyen çatışma ve mücadeleler dünyayı neredeyse yaşanmaz bir yer haline çevirmektedir. Bu durumdan kurtulmanın yolu ise, insanoğlunun bitmek bilmeyen hırs ve iştahını bir kenara bırakıp toplumsal ve evrensel değerleri benimsemesi ve yaşamının merkezine bu değerleri koymasından geçer. Değer kavramının son dönemdeki güncelliğinin sebebi de aslında budur. Araştırmacılar ve değerler üzerine çalışanlar, insanlığın içinde bulunduğu durumdan kurtulmasının yolunu değerlerde aramaktadırlar. Çalışmamızın temelinde de bu amaç yatmaktadır. Çalışmamızın ilk bölümünde değer kavramının tanımı, değerlerin özellikleri, değerlerin önemi, işlevi ve değerler eğitimi üzerinde durulmuş ve bir değer tasnifi yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise Mevlana’nın Mesnevi adlı eserindeki değerler, yaptığımız tasnife göre incelenmiş ve Mesnevi’den alıntılarla örneklendirilmiştir. Çalışmamız için Mesnevi’yi seçmemizin amacı, kendisinin başlı başına bir değer olması ve değerlerin benimsetilmesi noktasında başlıca kaynaklardan biri olmasıdır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma modellerinden doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmış ve bulgular betimsel analizle yorumlanmış ve tarafımızdan yapılan tasnife göre incelenmiştir.
The concept of value has become a very current concept in recent times. In today’s world where power and matter rule, what can be defined as value is thrown to the second plan by the Son of man and even is counted out. As a result, endless conflicts and struggles make the world a place that is almost impossible to live. The way to get rid of this situation is by leaving the unfinished ambition and appetite of mankind and by adopting social and universal values and by placing those values in the center of his life. This is actually the reason for the current value of the concept in recent times. Researchers and people working on values are looking for a way to get rid of the state in which humanity is. This is the basis of our work. The first part of our study focuses on the definition of the concept of value, the characteristics of values, the importance of values, the function and the values training and a value determination. In the second part, the values in the work of Mevlana’s Mesnevi, according to the tasnife we do, are studied and illustrated with quotes from Mesnevi. The purpose of our work is to choose Mesnevi to be a value on its own and one of the main resources at the point of adoption of values. The study used the method of document analysis from the quality research models and the findings were interpreted with visual analysis and studied according to the tasnife made by us.
