Laboratuvar eğitiminde bilgisayar destekli görüntüleme sistemine ait modern mikroskoplar ve alternatif eğitim araçlarının kullanımı da günümüzde yaygın hale gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada bilimsel çalışmalarda da kullanılan mikroskop aynı zamanda yüksekokullarda ilk yıllardan itibaren de uygulama derslerinde öğrenmeyi kolaylaştıran bir araç olarak görülmektedir. Buradan hareketle çalışmanın ana fikir cümlesi “laboratuvarda kullanılan teknik ve görüntülü cihazların kullanımının öğrenci performansı üzerine etkisi” olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın evrenini Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Bayat Meslek Yüksekokulu Laborant ve Veteriner Sağlık bölümü’nde öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluştururken, örneklemini 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim senesinde aynı üniversite ve bölümden seçilen 1. ve 2. sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 125 veteriner laborant öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma öğrenci adaylarının mikroskop kullanım bilgilerini ortaya koyan tarama modelindedir. Araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen ve görüntünün incelenmesi, teknik bilgi ve terimlerden oluşan “mikroskop kullanım bilgisi ölçeği” örneklem grubuna uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak öğrencilerin % 72.8’i trinokuler başlığa sahip mikroskopta verilen eğitimin daha iyi ve etkili olduğunu düşündüklerini göstermektedir.
The use of modern microscopes and alternative training tools of computer-backed imaging system in laboratory training has also become widespread today. The microscope used in scientific studies in this study is also seen as a tool that facilitates learning in practical courses from the early years of college. From here the main idea phrase of the study is defined as "the impact of the use of technical and visual devices used in the laboratory on student performance". The universe of study is formed by students studying at the Laborant and Veterinary Health Department of the Bayat University of Afyon Kocatepe, while the sample was chosen from the same university and department in the 2019-2020 educational year. There are a total of 125 veterinary laboratory students studying in the class. The study is in the scanning model that reveals the candidate’s microscope use information. Developed by researchers and the study of the image was applied to the sample group of "microscopic use information scale" consisting of technical knowledge and terms. As a result, 72.8% of students show that they believe that the training given in a microscope with a trinocular title is better and more effective.

From this point of view, the research problem was determined "as the effect of using technical and visual devices used in the laboratory on student performance.” While the population of the study is composed of the students studying at the Department of Laborant and Veterinary Health Program at Afyon Kocatepe University Bayat Vocational School, the sample consists of a total of 125 first and second-grade students studying at the same university and department in the 2019-2020 academic year. In the study, a survey model was used to reveal the students' knowledge of microscope usage. The "microscope usage knowledge scale" developed by the researchers, which consists of technical information and terms, was applied to the sample group. As a result, it was observed that 72.8% of the students thought that the training provided through the microscope with the trinocular head was better and more effective.
