Toprak, su, hava ve ateş birbiriyle kaynaşarak sanatçının elinde sayısız amaçlar için kullanılacak güzel eserler oluşturmuştur. Tarihsel süreçte ticari amforalar, ölü gömme ve saklama kabı olarak kullanılan pitoslar, seramik lahit mezarlar arkeolojik kazılar sonucu elde edilmiş önemli seramik örneklerdir. Çeşitli yöntemlerle üretilen anıtsal seramikler içinde özellikle yekpare formlarda, oran ve ölçü arttıkça kurutma, taşıma, fırınlama gibi ihtiyaçları ve sorunları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu çalışmada amaç anıtsal seramik form şekillendirme sürecini tecrübe etmek, yapılan form ile Kınık Köyü kırsal turizmine destek vermesi, aynı zamanda da seramik malzemenin sınırlarının keşfedilmesi arzu edilmiştir. Çalışmada yöntem olarak tasarımları yapılmış yekpare anıtsal seramik eserlerin nasıl bir ortamda, hangi yöntemlerle şekillendirildiği, kurutma, fırınlama ile tüm aşamalarda karşılaşılan sorunları ve çözüm yollarını anlatmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma ile anıtsal bir seramik uygulama turistik, tanıtım ve yöreye katkı getirmesi düşüncesi ile tasarlanıp uygulanmış ve kalıcı bir esere dönüşmesi amaçlanmıştır.
The land, water, air and fire are mixed with each other, creating beautiful works to be used for countless purposes in the hands of the artist. In the historical process, commercial amphores, pitoses used as dead burial and storage containers, ceramic layer tombs are important ceramic examples obtained as a result of archaeological excavations. In monumental ceramics manufactured by various methods, especially in seamless forms, the proportion and size increases bringing with them the needs and problems such as drying, transporting, brushing. The aim of this study is to experience the process of forming the monumental ceramic shape, to support rural tourism in the Kınık Village with the form made, and to discover the boundaries of ceramic material. The study aims to describe the problems and solutions that are faced in all stages of drying, brushing, and in which environments, in which methods, the monumental ceramic works are shaped. With this work a monumental ceramic application is designed and implemented with the idea of bringing tourism, promotion and contribution to the site to a permanent work.
