Bu çalışmada, Denizli Pamukkale ve Merkezefendi ilçelerindeki okullarda yönetici olarak görev yapanların özyeterlikleri ile politik becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra katılımcı okul yöneticilerinin özyeterlik ve politik beceri algılarının bazı değişkenlere (okul türü, cinsiyet, görev yapılan ilçe, mesleki kıdem, çalışılan okuldaki kıdem, lisansüstü eğitim durumu) göre anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediği belirlenmiştir. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modellerinden biri olan ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmaya Denizli İlinin Pamukkale ve Merkezefendi ilçelerinde görev yapan 612 sayıdaki okul yöneticisinden 236 okul yöneticisi dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri kişisel bilgi formu, yönetici özyeterlik ölçeği ve politik beceri ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, okul yöneticilerinin özyeterlik düzeyleri yüksek bulunmuştur. Okul yöneticilerinin özyeterlik algıları çalışılan okul türüne göre farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Buna göre ilkokullarda görev yapan okul yöneticilerinin, liselerde görev yapan okul yöneticilerine oranla algı düzeyleri daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Okul yöneticilerinin özyeterlik düzeylerine ilişkin algılarında cinsiyet, görev yapılan ilçe, mesleki kıdem çalışılan okuldaki kıdem, lisansüstü eğitim alma durumu gibi değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır. Okul yöneticilerinin politik beceri düzeyleri yüksek bulunmuştur. Katılımcıların ilişki ağı kurma becerilerini, kişilerarası etkiye ve sosyal zekaya yönelik becerilerini yüksek olarak niteledikleri, samimi görünme becerisini ise çok yüksek olarak niteledikleri görülmüştür. Okul yöneticilerinin özyeterlik düzeyi algıları ile politik beceri düzeyi algıları arasında pozitif yönde zayıf bir korelasyon ilişkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Okul yöneticilerinin politik becerileri algıları, özyeterlik algılarını yordadığı bulunmuştur.
In this study, the aim of the study is to study the relationship between the self-sufficiency and political skills of those who work as managers in the schools in Denizli Pamukkale and Central Department. In addition, it has been determined whether the perceptions of self-sufficiency and political skills of the participating school managers show significant differences according to some variables (school type, gender, office district, vocational age, vocational age in the school studied, postgraduate education). The research has used a relative scanning model, which is one of the scanning models of quantum research methods. This study included 236 school managers from 612 school managers working in the Pamukkale and Central Ministry districts of Denizli. The research data was collected using personal information form, the scale of managerial selfishness and the scale of political skills. The research found that the level of self-sufficiency of school managers was high. School managers have found that the perceptions of self-sufficiency differ according to the type of school studied. According to this, the level of perception of the school managers in primary schools was higher than the level of perception of the school managers in primary schools. There was no significant difference in the perceptions of the school managers about the levels of self-sufficiency according to the variables such as gender, the district in which they were appointed, the senior in the school in which they were appointed, the status of graduate education. The level of political skills of the school managers was high. Participants have been high-qualified by their ability to build a network of relationships, their ability to interpersonal influence and social intelligence, while their ability to look intimate has been high-qualified by their ability to look intimate. The conclusion has been that there is a weak correlation in the positive direction between the perceptions of the level of self-sufficiency of the school managers and the perceptions of the level of political skills. School managers have found that political skills perceive, self-sufficiency perceive.
