Electrical household appliances are the most used devices in our lives. The most common of these is the vertical vacuum cleaner group. Vertical sweepers are preferred because of the fact that small floor coverings can be cleaned quickly and practically. These devices are used in the market with mains electricity or with a rechargeable battery. The commercially available vertical vacuum cleaners absorb the dirt from the environment and store them in the inner chamber. Depending on the pore size of the inner fiber filter, contaminated particles are expelled into the external environment. In order to prevent these dirty particles, it was decided to develop a vacuum cleaner design with a cyclone system. Six different concept designs were made and the concept tracking / scoring matrix was applied to select the most suitable design. Engineering studies were carried out on the design and the final production was made. The model and support material required for the prototype production and the prototype cost were calculated. Stratasys company's FDM 360MC machine has been prototyped and assembled. It is aimed to carry out quality checks on the vertical broom, which is produced and assembled from the prototype, to perform dust tests and sound measurements.
