References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Abstract This paper aims to discuss the relationship between orality, writing and indigenous rewriting considering the colonial context and the effects of meaning produced by the dichotomization and hierarchy of these semiotic modes. Having the Derridean deconstruction as a reference, we will break with the recalcitrant idea that the original peoples did not have a writing. Then, we will reflect on the indigenous rewritings, especially focusing on the Série Kotiria – a collection of four books that rewrite traditional narratives from Kotiria (Wanano) people - as a movement, emerged with greater intensity since the 1988 Constitution, which allows attempts to overcome, through different forms of translation, the dichotomies and hierarchies imposed by Western perspective.
