Görsel sanatlar eğitimi özel öğretim yöntemleri II dersinde görsel sanatlar öğretmen adaylarının ders kapsamında gerçekleştirdikleri mikro-öğretim uygulamalarını ve bu dersin işlenişine yönelik deneyimlerini anlamayı amaçlayan bu araştırma fenomenografik araştırma ile tasarlanmıştır. Araştırma katılımcılarını amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme ile seçilen 30 görsel sanatlar öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri tümevarımsal içerik analiz ile çözümlenmiştir Araştırmada uygulama ve veri toplama süreci 2018-2019 güz ve bahar dönemi boyunca ÖÖY I ve ÖÖY II dersleri süresince devam etmiştir. Araştırma verileri araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulmuş olan açık uçlu yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formları ve ders dokümanları ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının deneyimleri “Derse hazırlık aşaması, mikro öğretim uygulaması, ÖÖY Dersi ve Değerlendirme” olmak üzere dört kategoride toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ÖÖY II dersinde öğretmenlik mesleğini deneyimleyen öğretmen adayları mikro öğretim uygulamalarında kendilerini ve arkadaşlarını değerlendirme fırsatı bulurken, aynı zamanda öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öğretim becerilerini ve yeterliliklerini geliştirdikleri ortaya çıkmıştır.

Visual Arts Education Special Teaching Methods in the Course Micro Teaching Application: Phenomenographic Research

Abstract:

This research is designed with phenomenographic research aimed at understanding the micro-learning practices that visual arts teachers candidates perform within the course and their experience of processing this course. The research participants have formed 30 visual arts teachers candidates selected by measurement sampling from sample methods aimed at. The research data has been analyzed through the application and data collection process in the research has continued throughout the 2018-2019 summer and spring period during the I and II courses. The research data was collected with open-end semi-constructed interview forms and curriculum documents created by the researcher. In the study, the experience of the teacher candidates was gathered in four categories: "Teaching preparation stage, micro-learning application, TEACH lesson and evaluation". The research has shown that teachers candidates who experience the teaching profession in the OY II course find the opportunity to evaluate themselves and their friends in the micro teaching practices, while they also develop their teaching skills and skills towards the teaching profession.

Using a phenomenographic research design, this study aims to understand the experiences of pre-service visual arts teachers in their microteaching practices at the course of special teaching methods II in visual arts education as well as their experiences on the application of the microteaching practices at this course. The participants of the study were a total of 30 pre-service visual arts teachers selected through the criterion sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods. The data were analyzed through inductive content analysis. The application process and the data collection process continued until the end of the courses of STM I and STM II throughout the 2018-2019 fall and spring terms. The data were collected by means of semi-structured interview forms with open-ended questions prepared by the researcher as well as course documents. The experiences of the pre-service teachers were divided into four categories: “Course preparation, Microteaching practice, STM course, and Assessment.” The findings of the study indicated that the pre-service teachers who experienced the teaching profession at the course of STM II had the opportunity to assess themselves and their peers in microteaching practices and also improved their teaching skills and competencies for the teaching profession.
