Amaç: Bu çalışmada ilaç uygulamaları ve kan alma işlemi sırasında tamamlayıcı terapiler ve destekleyici bakım uygulamalarını kullanan hemşirelik tezlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Veriler nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Türkiye Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi web sitesinde yer alan tüm hemşirelik ana bilim dalları kontrol edilerek, 2010-2020 yılları arasında yayınlanmış 6855 tezin özeti incelenmiştir. Araştırma kriterlerine uygun 85 tez hazırlanan çizelgeye göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Veriler tanımlayıcı istatistik testleriyle analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: İncelenen hemşirelik tezleri çoğunlukla son dört yılda olmak üzere en fazla 2017 yılında yapılmış ve tezlerin %76.5’i yüksek lisans düzeyindedir. Tezlerin %65.9’u çocuklar üzerinde yapılırken, en çok Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği alanında (%51.8) yürütüldüğü belirlenmiştir. Uygulamalar çoğunlukla kan alma sırasında (%36.5) yapılmış ve en fazla ağrı (%90.6) değerlendirilmiştir. Uygulamalar sırasında yetişkinlerde en fazla soğuk uygulama (%23.5), çocuklarda ise dikkat dağıtma (%32.8) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç: İlaç uygulamaları ve kan alma işlemi sırasında, tamamlayıcı terapiler ve destekleyici bakım uygulaması kullanan hemşirelik tez sayısı her geçen gün artmaktadır. Bu konuya ilişkin uygulama yöntemlerinin doktora tezlerinde daha fazla kullanılması, yetişkinlerde girişimsel uygulamalarda bu tip araştırmaların ve hemşirelik tez sayısının artması önerilmektedir.
Objective: In this study, it was aimed to examine the nursing theses that used complementary therapies and supportive care practices during drug administration and blood collection. Methods: The data were collected with the document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods. All nursing departments on the website of the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education of Turkey were checked and the summary of 6855 theses published between 2010-2020 were examined. 85 theses in accordance with the research criteria were classified according to the prepared schedule. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical tests. Results: The nursing theses examined were mostly made in the last four years, at most in 2017, and 76.5% of the theses were at the master's level. While 65.9% of the theses were on children, it was determined that they were mostly carried out in the field of Pediatric Nursing (51.8%). The applications were mostly done during blood collection (36.5%) and the most pain (90.6%) was evaluated. During the applications, cold application (23.5%) was used the most in adults and distraction (32.8%) in children. Conclusion: The number of nursing theses using complementary therapies and supportive care during drug administration and blood collection is increasing day by day. It is recommended that the application methods related to this subject be used more in doctoral theses, and the number of such studies and nursing theses should be increased in interventional applications in adults.
