Aşırı iş yükü ve tükenmişlik değişkenleri ile ulusalda pek çok çalışma olmasına karşın sendika etkisi üzerine çalışmalara çok nadir olarak karşılaşılmaktadır. Bunun yanında sendika etkisi uluslararası alanda da az çalışılan bir alandır. Bu etkenler çerçevesinde araştırmadan çıkan sonuçlar bu alanda çalışacak olan araştırmacılara ışık tutacağı ve literatüre fayda sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Nicel araştırma yöntemiyle 2022-2023 yıllarında kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle sivil havacılık sektöründe çalışan 419 kişi ile yapılan anket çalışması sonucunda elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgularda aşırı iş yükünün tükenmişliği pozitif ve anlamlı olarak etkilediği aşırı iş yükünün tükenmişliğe etkisinde sendika üyeliğini aracılık rolünün bulunmadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca bu yapılan çalışmada sektörde çalışan personellerin yaş, cinsiyet eğitim düzeyi ve çalışma süreleri gibi bilgiler hakkında bilgi edinilmiştir.
Although there are many national studies on excessive workload and burnout variables, studies on union effects are very rare. In addition, union influence is an area that has been little studied internationally. Within the framework of these factors, it is thought that the results of the research will shed light on researchers who will work in this field and will benefit the literature. With the quantitative research method, the data obtained as a result of the survey conducted with 419 people working in the civil aviation sector with the convenience sampling method in 2022-2023 were analyzed. The findings showed that excessive workload affected burnout positively and significantly, and union membership did not have a mediating role in the effect of excessive workload on burnout. In addition, in this study, information was obtained about the age, gender, education level and working hours of the personnel working in the sector.
