Diaper dermatitis is one of the most common disorders in infants. The incidence of diaper dermatitis is highest in those between 9 and 12 months of age. While mild forms heal spontaneously, more severe forms may require medi- cal attention. A short duration of mild corticosteroid app- lication may be useful in moderate to severe cases of dia- per dermatitis which have not responded to other topical agents. Iatrogenic Cushing’s syndrome may be due to extended use of steroid or the potency of topical corticos- teroids. We report five cases of Cushing’s syndrome due to the use of a topical potent corticosteroid clobetazole 17 propionate 0.05 % cream in diaper dermatitis
