ACİL SERVİS VE YATAKLI SERVİSLERDE GÖREVLİ SAĞLIK PROFESYONELLERİNİN PROBLEM ÇÖZME YETENEK ALGILARININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract:

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı acil serviste ve yataklı servislerde çalışan sağlık profesyonellerinin problem çözme yetenek algılarını, etkileyen değişkenler bakımından incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu araştırma kesitsel türde bir araştırmadır. Problem çözme envanteri ve anket ile veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini acil servis ve yataklı servislerde çalışan personel, örneklemini ise çalışmaya katılımı kabul eden ve ulaşılabilen personel oluşturmuştur (N=103). Elde edilen veriler istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Bu araştırmada acil serviste çalışanların problem çözme yeterliğine güveni yataklı serviste çalışan sağlık personelinden daha yüksektir. Acil serviste görev yapan sağlık personelinin yaklaşma kaçınma puanları yataklı serviste çalışanlardan yüksektir. Bekarların problem çözme yeterliğine olan güveni evlilerden yüksektir. Bekarların yaklaşma kaçınma düzeyleri evlilerden yüksektir. Çocuğu olmayanların yaklaşma kaçınma düzeyleri 2 ve daha çok çocuğu olanlardan yüksektir. 9 yıl ve üstü deneyime sahip olanların problem çözme yeterliklerine olan güveni 0-1 yıl olanlardan yüksektir. Çalıştığı üniteden memnun olanların problem çözmede kendine olan güveni ve yaklaşma kaçınma düzeyleri kısmen memnun olanlardan yüksektir. Sürekli gündüz çalışanların kendine güvenleri sürekli gece çalışanlardan yüksektir. Sonuç: Araştırmada acil serviste çalışan sağlık profesyonellerinin yataklı serviste çalışanlara göre problem çözme yeterliliğinin yüksek olduğu sonucuna varıldı.

Abstract:

Objective: The purpose of this research; to examine the problem-solving ability perceptions of healthcare professionals working in emergency and inpatient services in terms of variables that affect them. Material and Method: This research is a cross-sectional study. Data were collected by problem solving inventory and questionnaire. The population of the study consisted of the personnel working in the emergency and inpatient services, while the sample of the study consisted of staff who agreed to participate in the study and could be reached (N=103). Data were collected by problem solving inventory and questionnaire. Results: In this study, the confidence of those working in the emergency department to the competence of problem solving is higher than the healthcare personnel working in the inpatient service. The approach-avoidance scores of the healthcare professionals working in the emergency service are higher than those of the inpatient service personnel. The confidence in problem-solving competence of single staff is higher than the married ones. The approach-avoidance score of single staff is also higher than the married staff. The approach-avoidance score of the staff without having a child is higher than the ones who have 2 or more children. Also, the approach-avoidance score of staff with 9 years of experience is higher than the ones with 0 to 1-year experience. The self-confidence in problem solving and approach avoidance levels of those who are satisfied with the unit they work in are higher than those who are partially satisfied. The self-confidence of those who work continuously during the day is higher than those who work at night shift. Conclusion: In the study, it was concluded that the health professionals working in the emergency department have higher problem-solving competence than those working in the inpatient service.
