The aim of this study is to investigate, the effect of emotional intelligence on the organizational citizenship behaviour and the mediating effect of job satisfaction on this relationship. For this purpose, we conduct this study with participation of 243 employees who are working in the firms where they are located in the Ankara-Sincan 1st Organized Industrial Region. The results of the research indicate that emotional intelligence affects both organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction positively, but job satisfaction doesn’t have medating effect on the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior
