Bazı Şeker Mısır Çeşitlerinin (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) Bitki, Koçan ve Verim Özellikleri

Bu araştırma, bazı şeker mısırı çeşitlerinin (Zea mays L. saccharata Sturt) bitki, koçan ve verim özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla, Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Araştırma ve Uygulama arazisinde, 2009 ve 2010 yıllarında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada materyal olarak, Lumina, Merit, Sunshine, Jubile, Challenger ve Yellow Baby ticari çeşitleri ile 2201 hattı olmak üzere toplam 7 adet şeker mısır genotipi kullanılmıştır. Deneme tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre, dört tekrarlamalı olarak kurulmuştur. İncelenen özellikler bakımından çeşitler arasında önemli farklılıklar saptanmıştır. İki yılın ortalamalarına göre; bitki boyu, 195 (Challenger) ile 230 cm (Merit) arasında; yaprak sayısı 7,9 (Yellow Baby) ile 11,1 adet (Merit) arasında; koçan uzunluğu, 21,9 (Merit) ile 23,8 cm (Lumina) arasında; koçan çapı 48,0 (2201) ile 54,1 mm (Sunshine) arasında; kavuzsuz koçan ağırlığı, 338 (Jubile) ile 406 g (Sunshine) arasında; dekara kavuzsuz koçan verimi, 1934 (Jubile) ile 2325 kg/da (Sunshine) arasında değişmiştir. Bitki özellikleri, koçan özellikleri ve dekara verim bakımından öncelikle Sunshine ve Lumina çeşitlerinin onları takiben Merit çeşidinin, önerilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

This research was conducted in the 2009 and 2010 years in the Ziraat Faculty of Research and Application of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, with the aim of determining the plant, coaching and productivity characteristics of some varieties of sugar pepper (Zea mays L. saccharata Sturt). As material in the study, a total of 7 sugar eggs genotypes were used, including 2201 lines, with commercial varieties of Lumina, Merit, Sunshine, Jubileum, Challenger and Yellow Baby. According to the test pattern of random blocks, it is set up four repetitive. There are significant differences between the varieties in terms of the characteristics examined. According to the average of two years; plant length, between 195 (Challenger) and 230 cm (Sunshine); leaves number between 7.9 (Yellow Baby) and 11.1 pieces (Sunshine); coaching length, between 21.9 (Merit) and 23.8 cm (Lumina); coaching diameter between 48,0 (2201) and 54.1 mm (Sunshine); coaching weight, between 338 (Jubile) and 406 g (Sunshine); coaching productivity, between 1934 (Jubile) and 2325 kg (Sunshine). In terms of plant characteristics, coaching characteristics and decay efficiency, first Sunshine and Lumina varieties follow them, the Merit varieties, can be recommended.
