ÖZET Medrese-tekke bütünlüğüne önem veren Tasavvuf ilminin önemli ekollerinden biri de Nakşbendî tarikatıdır. Nakşbendîlik, İslam’ın ahkâmını önceleyerek şeriatın zahir hükümleri öğrenilmeden tarikat eğitimine geçilmesini uygun görmez. Hz. Peygamber’in (s.a.s) Cibril hadisi ile Medine Mescidinde tesis ettiği Ashab-ı Suffa eğitim kurumunu kendisine rehber edinen Nakşbendîlik, günümüze kadar ilmi esas alan çizgisini koruyarak gelmiştir. Nakşbendî mürşitlerinin aynı zamanda İslamî ilimlerde temayüz etmiş âlimlerden olmaları ve medreselerde müderris vasfıyla eğitim hizmetlerine katkı sağlamaları da bu kanaati desteklemektedir. 1846 yılında Konya valisi Bekir Sami Paşa tarafından Konya’da inşa edilen ve Bekir Sami Paşa Hankâh’ı olarak da bilinen Nakşbendî Halidî Zaviyesi, tekke olarak tesis edilen bir kurumun kütüphanesi ve ilmi tedrisatıyla daha sonraları Konya Islah-ı Medaris-i İslamiye Medresesi ismiyle modern bir eğitim ve öğretim kurumuna dönüşmesi, Nakşbendî ekolünün tasavvuf eğitiminde Kitap ve Sünnet merkezli ilmi esaslara dayandığını yakın tarih itibariyle gösteren en net örneklerden biridir. Makalede İslam kültür ve medeniyetinin oluşmasında ilim ve irfan geleneğini birlikte ele alan Bekir Sami Paşa Nakşbendî Halidî zaviyesinin kuruluşu, vakfiyesi, eğitimi, dönemin modern bir eğitim kurumu olan Konya Islâh-ı Medâris-i İslamiye Medresesine dönüşümü incelenecek, zaviye hizmetlerinin devamı amacıyla kurulan para vakfının hukuki statüsü Osmanlı Devleti uygulamalarından hareketle İslam hukukuna göre kısaca değerlendirilecektir.
