So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

2022

Author:
Abstract:

Classical Turkish Poetry and Ishraq Philosophy
2022
Author:
Abstract:

Ishraq philosophy, which was seen more intensely in the Ottoman thought in the 16th and 17th centuries and later, was also reflected in classical Turkish poetry. Along with this philosophy, the words around the concept of light, as well as “ishraq”, entered both the general literature and poetry. In the study, the reflections of the philosophy of israq in the poems around the concept of “ishraq” are emphasized. Since the Ottoman interest in Ishraq philosophy started in the 16th and 17th centuries, the divans chosen from this period and from the following centuries were examined. Poets have used philosophers and philosophical concepts for various poetic images. In the poems, it is seen that the Ishraq philosophy was effective in the 17th century and later. The existence and knowledge view of that philosophy is not reflected in the poems in detail. In addition, the poets, who included the words around the concept of light and some philosophers together with “Ishraq”, clearly showed that they were influenced by the philosophy of Ishraq. According to some classical Turkish poets, reason and intuition must be together in order to comprehend the truth. For this reason, Ishraq philosophy, which is a philosophy based on intuition, as well as rationalism, is also criticized. Although the concept of "Ishraq" is seen in some poems, it is not used as a philosophical term. Therefore, the study focuses on the examples of poetry that adopt or criticize the philosophy of “Ishraq”.
