Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de Din Psikolojisi alanında 1995 ve 2022 yılları arasında “dindarlık” konulu lisansüstü çalışmaları bazı kriterleri esas alarak bibliyometrik analiz tekniği ile incelemek suretiyle gelecekteki araştırmacılara rehberlik edici yönde katkıda bulunabilmektir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma desenlerinden bibliyometrik analiz türünde tasarlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın araştırma evrenini YÖK tarafından hizmet veren “Ulusal Tez Merkezi” sisteminden taranan “dindarlık” konulu lisansüstü çalışmalar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise amaçlı örnekleme yönteminden ölçüt örnekleme tekniği kullanılarak belirlenen, ilgili veri tabanı üzerinden taranan ve 1995-2022 yılları arasında Din Psikolojisi alanında hazırlanmış olan “dindarlık” konulu 219 lisansüstü tez çalışması teşkil etmektedir. Araştırmanın verileri doküman incelemesi yoluyla toplanmış olup belirlenen kriterlere göre bibliyometrik analiz ve içerik analiz teknikleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Din Psikolojisi alanındaki “dindarlık” konulu çalışmaların belirlenen kriterlere göre detaylı analizlerinde, tez türlerine göre 37’si doktora, 182’si yüksek lisans olmak üzere toplamda 219 çalışma yapıldığı görülmüştür. Konu ile ilgili en fazla Marmara Bölgesi’nde (n=83 çalışma), İstanbul ilinde (n=42 çalışma) ve Marmara Üniversitesi’nde (n=30 çalışma) tez çalışması yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Tamamlandıkları yıl açısından bakıldığında, 47 çalışmayla en fazla çalışmanın 2019 yılına ait olduğu ve son 4 yılda yapılan çalışmaların tüm çalışmaların yarısından fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sayfa sayıları açısından ise 100-124 sayfa arası 52 çalışma bulunduğu en fazla 608 sayfalık, en az 63 sayfalık çalışma olduğu ve sayfa ortalamasının ise 155 sayfa olduğu görülmüştür. Tez danışmanları açısından yapılan analizlerde ise en fazla Prof. Dr. ünvanlı tez danışmanlarının bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Yine yapılan çalışmalarda “dindarlık”, “din” ve “din psikolojisi” kelimelerinin kullanımlarının anahtar kelime ve dizinlerde sıkça tercih edildiği görülmüştür.
The purpose of the study was to contribute to the guidance of future studies by evaluating postgraduate theses on “piety” in the field of Psychology of Religion in Turkey between 1995 and 2022 with the Bibliometric Analysis Technique based on several criteria. The study was designed in Bibliometric Analysis Fashion, which is one of the qualitative study designs. In this context, the population of the study consisted of postgraduate theses on “piety” scanned from the “National Thesis Center” system of the Council of Higher Education (CHE). The sample of the study consisted of a total of 219 postgraduate theses released on the subject of “piety”, which were determined by using the Criterion Sampling Technique from the Purposeful Sampling Method, scanned through the relevant database, and prepared in the field of Psychology of Religion between 1995 and 2022. The data of the study were collected with the Document Review Technique and analyzed with the Bibliometric Analysis and Content Analysis Techniques. It was found in the detailed analysis of the theses on “piety” in the field of Psychology of Religion according to the determined criteria that a total of 219 theses were conducted according to thesis types (37 Doctoral and 182 Master's Degrees). It was also found that the theses were mostly conducted in the Marmara Region (n = 83 studies), Istanbul (n = 42 studies), and Marmara University (n = 30 studies). In terms of the year they were completed, it was determined that the most theses (47 theses in 2019), and the studies conducted in the last 4 years were more than half of all studies. In terms of page numbers, there were 52 theses between 100-124 pages. The theses had a maximum of 608 pages, a minimum of 63 pages, and the average page length was 155. According to the analysis that was made in terms of thesis advisors, it was determined that there were thesis advisors with the titles “professor” and “associate professor”. Studies frequently used the words “piety”, “religion”, and “psychology of religion” in keywords and indexes. [The Extended Abstract is at the end of the article.]
