Abstract:

Purpose: This study aims to study the preferences and factors that influence the form of birth of students at the Faculty of Health Sciences. Tools and Methods: Identifying and cutting-edge research data were obtained between 16 February and 10 March 2018. The sample of the study was made by 469 students studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Istanbul in the 2017-2018 educational teaching period. The survey form was used for the collection of data prepared by researchers.  Results: The average age of the students who participated in the study was 20.07±1,56 years, 81.7 percent were women and 38.2 percent were studying in the abortion. 82.5 per cent of students were born with normal birth, while 87.8 per cent preferred normal birth. Those who indicate that it is necessary to do the keysarine according to desire (53%. 9) Caesar's birth was determined to prefer more. 87.2% of students with knowledge of birth prefer normal births.  The majority of students prefer normal birth. Those who recommend the preferred Caesar prefer the birth of Caesar. Students studying in the Faculty of Health Sciences should be given pregnancy and childbirth training, and the curriculum programmes should be organized accordingly.
