Bu çalışmanın amacı Kovid-19 küresel salgınının Türkiye’de sağlık sigortası sektöründeki etkilerini incelemektir. İnceleme Ocak 2019-Aralık 2020 dönemi ele alınarak ve alt branş bazında teminat adetleri incelenerek gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda Kovid-19 salgınına ilişkin Türkiye’de ilk vaka tespitinin yaşandığı mart ayından sonra, Nisan, Ağustos, Ekim ve Aralık aylarında ele alınan sağlık sigortalarının artış gösterdiği söylenebilir. Öte yandan sigorta şirketlerinin sağlık sigortalarının kapsamları detaylı bir şekilde incelenerek çalışmada gözlenen artışların küresel salgınla bağlantısı noktasında ayrıntılı ve kesin yorumlar yapılabilecektir

Insurance branches, accidents, crashes, illness/health, ground/water vehicles, transportation, fire and natural disasters, general damages, ground vehicles liability, general liability, credit and debt non-payment insurance, financial losses, legal protection and life can be classified. The aim of this study is to explore the effects of the global epidemic of Kovid-19 in the health insurance sector in Turkey. The review was carried out by the January 2019-December 2020 period and by examining the assurance items on the basis of the under branch. According to the results of the investigations, after the first case detection of the Kovid-19 epidemic in Turkey occurred in March, the health insurance addressed in April, August, October and December showed an increase. On the other hand, by examining the scope of health insurance companies in detail, the study will be able to make detailed and accurate comments on the point of connection of the increases observed in the study with the global epidemic.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of global epidemic Covid-19 in the health insurance sector in Turkey. The examination was carried out by considering the period of January 2019-December 2020 and by examining the number of collaterals on the basis of sub-branches. Considering these changes mentioned it can be said that after the march that the first case occurred in that the finding of a Covid-19 outbreak in Turkey, in April, August, October and December the health insurances increased. On the other hand, by examining the coverage of health insurances of insurance companies in detail, detailed and definitive comments can be made on the connection between the increases observed in the study and the global epidemic.
