Kliniğimize başvuran hastaların kontraseptif yöntem kullanma oranını ve kullanılan yöntemlerin yaş, parite, sigara gibi değişkenlerle ilişkisini ortaya koymak. Çalışmamızda aile planlaması polikliniğinde Ocak 2010 – Ocak 2013 tarihleri arasında muayane edilen 906 olgu retrospektif olarak incelendi. Hastaların kullandığı kontraseptif metot, yaş, evlilik süresi, parite sayısı, küretaj sayısı, sigara kullanımı değerlendirildi. Kullanılan kontraseptif yöntemler geri çekme, kondom, rahim içi araç (RİA), oral kontraseptif (OKS), kontraseptif iğne ve tubal sterilizasyon olarak sınıflandırıldı. İstatiksel anazlizleri yapıldı. Kontraseptif yöntem kullanma oranı %85 idi. Hastaların % 48’i modern bir korunma yöntemi kullanmakta idi.
Discover the rates of patients who apply to our clinic using the contraceptive method and the relationship of the methods used with the variables such as age, parity, smoking. In our study, 906 facts examined in the Family Planning Clinic between January 2010 and January 2013 were retrospective. The contraceptive method used by patients, age, time of marriage, number of parities, number of currents, use of smoking were assessed. The contraceptive methods used were classified as withdrawal, condom, intrauterine instrument (RIA), oral contraceptive (OKS), contraceptive injection and tubal sterilization. Statistical adjustments have been made. The use rate of the contraceptive method was 85%. 48% of patients were using a modern method of protection. The withdrawal method was the most commonly used family planning method with 37%. This was followed by the intrauterine vehicle (17.5 percent), the condom (17.5 percent), the oral contraceptive (6.5 percent), the tubal sterilization (3.8 percent) and the contraceptive injection (3.2 percent) respectively. As a protection method, more condoms, oral contraceptives and removal were preferred in 35 and 6 groups; more intrauterine vehicles, contraceptive injections and tubal sterilization were used in 35 and older groups. The rate of use of any family planning method in our region has been found higher than the data in Turkey. However, the rate of use of a modern method was at the average level of Turkey. With face-to-face education in society, family planning awareness level can be raised. The patient group, especially using the withdrawal method, should be aware of the use of modern family planning methods.
