Abstract:

It is one of the important oil plants of Turkey in terms of the amount of production and the share it receives from consumption. In the study using the time series and quadratic type function, Turkey's mountain range in October area, production quantity and productivity values have been studied, possible forecasts have been found. As a result of the trend analysis, it is forecast that for 2011 Turkey will increase its landscape area, production quantity and productivity value. According to the study, if the product purchase price, the difference support and the Mazot support are determined in accordance with the current conditions and the seed entrance is also included in the support scope, it is understood that in Turkey, the production of peanut butter can be done in more appropriate conditions and the increase in production can be provided. However, the study concluded that in the case of water-conditioned production of peanut butter, the use of high oil-rate seeds and the spread of fertilization based on soil analysis, the country’s plant oil gap could be closed using the existing agricultural potential.
