Türkiye Cumhuriyeti, II. Dünya Savaşı’nın ardından 1946 yılında Demokrat Parti’nin kurulması ile demokrasinin bir gereği olarak çok partili hayata geçmiştir. 1950 genel seçimleri ile iktidara gelen Demokrat Parti tarafından birçok alanda olduğu gibi kültür sanat alanında da değişimlere yol açan çalışmalar yapmıştır. Bu çalışmada, erken Cumhuriyet döneminde dinî müzik alanına tek parti yönetimi eliyle gerçekleştirilen reformlara DP’nin yaklaşımı ve bu reformları kendi liberal-muhafazakâr politikaları bağlamında Radyo yayıncılığı açısından incelenmiştir. Erken Cumhuriyet döneminde ezanın Türkçeleştirilmesi, çıkartılan kanunlar ile dinî müzik alanının sekteye uğratılmasının aksine, DP döneminde dinî müzik gerek sosyal gerekse kamusal alanda görünür olmuş, ilerleme kaydetmiştir. Bu ilerlemelere Arapça ezan serbesti, radyolarda dinî müzik yasağının kalkması ve 1946 yılında Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi tarafından halkın sempatisini kazanmak amacıyla başlatılan ve DP döneminde günümüzdeki şeklini alan Mevlânâ Celâleddin-i Rumî’yi anma törenlerinin (ihtifallerin) örnek olarak gösterilebilir. Çalışmanın ana konusunu oluşturan devlet radyolarında mevlid yayını ise Türkiye radyoculuk tarihinde ilk kez görülür. Literatürde ilk kez ortaya konulan belgelerin analiz tekniği kullanılarak işlendiği bu çalışmada, DP hükümeti tarafından başlatılan mevlid furyası ile tek parti döneminde geri plâna atılan ve yasaklanan dinî müzik formları icrasının 1950-1960 yılları arasında görünür hâle geldiği ve bazı formların günümüzdeki hâlini aldığı ortaya çıkarılmıştır.
The Republic of Turkey II. After the World War, the Democratic Party was established in 1946 and the multi-party life was established as a requirement for democracy. The 1950 general elections were conducted by the Democratic Party, which came to power in many fields, as well as in the field of culture and art, which led to changes. In this study, in the early Republic period, the reforms conducted by the one-party government in the religious music field and the DP's approach and these reforms were studied in the context of its liberal-conservative policies from the radio broadcasting perspective. In the early period of the Republic, the Turkishization of the law, unlike the law and the secta of the religious music field, in the period of the DP, religious music has become visible in the public field and has recorded progress. These advances can be shown as an example of the Arabic Serbs, the rise of the ban on religious music in the radio and the ceremonies of remembrance of the Mevlânâ Celâleddin-i Rumî, which was launched in 1946 by the Republican People's Party in order to gain the sympathy of the people and which took its current shape during the DP period. The state radio broadcasting, which is the main subject of the study, is seen for the first time in the Turkish radio history. In this study, where the documents first revealed in literature were processed using the analysis technique, it was revealed that the existing fury initiated by the DP government and the execution of religious music forms planned and banned in the single party period became apparent between the 1950s and 1960s and that some forms took the current status.
After the World War II, Republic of Turkey has transmitted to the multi-party system as a requirement of democracy with the establishment of the Democrat Party in 1946. The Democrat Party, which came to power with the general elections in 1950, has carried out different studies such as various changes in the field of culture and art as in many other fields. In this study, DP's approach to the reforms carried out in the field of religious music by a single party administration in the early Republican period and how these reforms changed in the context of their liberal-conservative policies were examined. Contrary to the Turkish translation of the call to prayer during the early Republican period and the interruption of the field of religious music with laws enacted, during the DP period, religious music made progress both in the social field and in the public field. The freedom of the recitation of the call to prayer in Arabic, the lifting of the ban on religious music on the radios, and the commemoration ceremonies (ihtifal) of Mevlânâ Celâleddin-i Rumî, which was initiated by the Republican People's Party in 1946 in order to win the sympathy of the people, can be shown as examples of these developments. The main topic of this study which is mevlid broadcast in the radios has seen in this period as a first time in the history of Turkish broadcasting. As a result of this study, in which the documents presented for the first time in the literature were processed using analysis technique, It was revealed that the performance of religious music forms, which were put back and banned during the period of the single party, became visible between 1950 and 1960, and some forms took their present form with the mevlid popularity initiated by the DP government.
