This study deals with the problems encountered in the financing resources and financial management of secondary schools and the suggestions for solution to these problems. It reveals the difficulties faced by school administrators in accessing and managing financial resources under main headings and sub-findings. Semi-structured interview method, one of the qualitative research designs, is used as the design of the research. Participants in this study are selected using maximum diversity sampling among purposeful sampling methods. The working group of this research includes 20 school administrators working in state secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. At the end of the study, school administrators emphasize "increasing the ratio of the budget of the Ministry of National Education to the general budget", "making arrangements in the economic distribution of the budget of the Ministry of National Education". It is stated that the problems experienced in financing resources "affect school administrators psychologically negative". School administrators state that "finding a source of finance is not their main duty" and emphasize that “their priority is education". As a result, it has emerged that secondary schools have financial problems and that school administrators provide individual and temporary solutions to these problems.
