Abstract:

From the past to the cave paintings, new searches and techniques have occurred over time in the print painting industry. In particular, with the Workshop 17, the artists were encouraged to make experimental printing. Today, there are many artists who experimental print. Karen Kunc, of these artists, has also presented many works based on experimentality in the original print. Most of the artists who print trees (grave) through "excellence" decides in the printing phase of the colors while making their sketches. for every color. “Negative” and “Positive” They are preparing their work for pressure. During the printing phase, it usually uses paper templates to translate the color from the shapes on the pattern. The performance of the artist depends on the spirit of the moment of pressure. Because the color doesn’t want to make a pre-decision, by making random choices according to the course, it takes the step-by-step path to the solution of the picture. It has not only printed tracks that can be hanged, but also printed books in the form of acordeon. This study focuses on Karen Kunc’s role in art production and illustrates some of his chosen works. In these analyses, we see how the artist translates the image world through experimentality through the printing painting technique to his works. The artist, who pushes the boundaries of an original material like wood, travels the powers of the natural world and is inspired by the inspection, using images such as mountains, stones, water, trees and roads in his works. Energy and enthusiasm are in front of the press. Kunc is a successful artist who shows the audience what can be done by challenging the limitations of the original print with his experimental approaches.
