Brucellosis is a zoonotic infectious disease that still has high morbidity in Turkey. In cases with brucellosis, pancytopenia is a rare complication, while anemia and thrombocytopenia can be commonly seen. An eight-year-old male patient presented at our pediatric outpatient clinic with fever, fatigue, chill, shivering and loss of weight. On physical examination and laboratory investigations, hepatosplenomegaly, fever, pancytopenia and 1/160 titer positive Brucella tube agglutination test were found. The patient clinically improved at the end of the second week and pancytopenia completely resolved at the end of the sixth week of combined treatment with rifampicin and doxycycline. We presented a patient who developed pancytopenia due to brucellosis in this case report due to the rarity of this complication
