Background: There is various evidence based medicine (EBM) trends in different medical schools in Turkey. In our school, with the beginning of 2005-2006 school year, EBM applications in different classes took place in the curricula. The aim of this study is to give any information about the EBM applications stared in year 2005-2006 and to evaluate the students’ feedbacks about the EBM. Methods: In this study the EBM commission foundation process, the distribution of theoretical and applicable education distribution planned and applicated in the first year and the students’ feedback forms were evaluated. Results: The positive feedbacks about the duration, content and about the abstract of EBM applications of the students are increasing with increasing school year I to VI. Notably 9 of every 10 of fifth year students agree the adequate or satisfactory propositions about the practical applications. We thought that this situation due to the preference of reaching prepared data of first school years students, and to the fact that the students of superior classes think that the medical education can not be limited only with the presented data and encounter the scientific research articles more than the juniors. Conclusion: It is planning to continue the students’ feedbacks and additionally, to promote the education taking the feedbacks of the professors in 2006-2007 school year.
