Abstract:

It is necessary to see the natural course of the disease in the living (man or animal) individual and scientific experiments in order to develop the treatment for it. For the purpose of advancing in science and health, humans have been working on human-like organisms for centuries and using animals in experiments. In the field of physiotherapy, which is the programming and application of the treatment methods suitable for each patient under the light of the main philosophy, clinical and experimental research, the researchers must be aware of the design, method, analysis and interpretation of the study in order to be able to effectively evaluate the results of the research on animal experiments. The purpose of this article is to introduce the basic principles of experimental animal studies used in the field of physiotherapy and the points to be taken into consideration when choosing the appropriate experimental model with its general lines.
