Bu çalışma, 2018 yılında Murat Tepe’de ve 2019 yılında Murat Höyük’te gerçekleştirilen kurtarma kazıları sonucunda ortaya çıkarılan iki adet toprak mezarı ve bu mezarlara bırakılan hediyeleri tanıtır. Yerleşimler, Kalehan Genç Enerji A.Ş. tarafından yapılan Aşağı Kaleköy Barajı su tutma havzası içerisinde yer almaktadır ve Bingöl’ün ilk sistemli arkeolojik kazılarıdır. Murat Tepe’de Orta Çağ ve Orta Demir Çağı/Urartu Krallık Dönemi’ne tarihlendirilen iki tabaka ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Murat Höyük’te Orta Çağ, Orta Demir Çağı/Urartu Krallık Dönemi, Erken Demir Çağı ve Erken Tunç Çağı’na tarihlendirilen dört tabaka ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Murat Tepe’de bir adet ve Murat Höyük’te bir adet olmak üzere yerleşim içerisinde toplam 2 adet toprak mezar ele geçmiştir. Mezarlar, Orta Demir Çağı/Urartu Krallık Dönemi’ne tarihlendirilmektedir. Yeni ortaya çıkarılan bu iki toprak mezara bireyler, toprağa hafif bir çukur kazılarak yerleştirilmiştir. Bireyler yaşarken kullandığı eşyalar ile birlikte gömülmüştür. Dönem içerisinde toprak mezarlar halk mezarı olarak da isimlendirilmiştir. Toprak mezarlar hem buluntu hem de sosyal statüyü göstermektedir. Mezar hediyesi olarak hem metal, hem de pişmiş toprak eserler birlikte ele geçmiştir. Her iki mezarda da ortaya çıkarılan iskeletler tahrip olmuştur. Yerleşmeler, Doğu Anadolu bölgesinde yer almakta ama yaklaşık MÖ 9-7 yy arası hüküm süren Urartu Krallığı başkenti ve merkezinden uzaktadır. Yerel mimari içerisinde ele geçmeleri ve metal hediyelerin yerel Urartu sanatı hakkında bilgi vermesi açısından da önemlidir. Murat Tepe ve Murat Höyük’te hediyeleriyle birlikte ortaya çıkarılan bu yeni iki toprak mezarın, Urartu dönemi ölü gömme geleneklerine yeni bir katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
This study presents two land graves and the gifts left to these tombs that were discovered as a result of the rescue excavations in Murat Tepe in 2018 and Murat Höyük in 2019. The city of Kalehan Young Energy. The Low Kaleköy Barge is located within the water retention pool and is the first systemic archaeological excavations of Bingöl. In Murat Tepe, two layers were revealed dated the Middle Ages and the Middle Iron Age/Urartu Kingdom Period. In Murat Höyük there are four layers dated to the Middle Ages, the Middle Iron Age/Urartu Kingdom Period, the Early Iron Age and the Early Tune Age. In the village of Murat Tepe and in the village of Murat Höyük, a total of two land tombs have been captured. The tombs are dated from the Middle Iron Age/Urartu Kingdom. These two newly revealed land tomb individuals were placed in the ground by harvesting a light hole. They were buried with the things they used. During the time, the tombs of the land were also called the people's tomb. The land tombs show both buluntu and social status. As a cemetery gift, both metal and cooked soil works were taken together. The stains found in both tombs have been destroyed. The settlements are located in the eastern Anadolu region but are far from the capital and center of the Urartu Kingdom, which ruled between 9-7 BC. It is also important for them to be captured within the local architecture and for the metal gifts to provide information about the local Urartu art. This new two land tombs, revealed together with their gifts in Murat Tepe and Murat Höyük, is believed to be a new contribution to the traditions of the dead burial of the Urartu period.
