Abstract:

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) studies are a multidisciplinary field of research, considering its application areas. In this study, which was conducted in order to investigate the OHS perception of health workers, a survey was conducted on 450 people employed in the relevant sector and 270 of them (who are of an available nature) were taken into consideration. Research cisiyet, age, marital status, level of education, job title, type of work, length of professional experience, income level, OHS training, occupational disease, you don't have just don't work, the level of satisfaction the measures taken by the administration of the institution OHS working environment, ergonomics, etc. the effects of the variables were analyzed statistically. In the study, Cronbach Alpha value of OHS satisfaction and ergonomics scales = 0.929; Cronbach Alpha value of occupational diseases and OHS measures scales = 0.963; the Cronbach Alpha value of the occupational accidents scale was calculated as = 0.977 and it was understood that it was high at the desired level for each scale related to its reliability. Descriptive statistics and analysis of structural validity in the light of the data obtained by interpreting demographic variables on dependent and independent variables to determine the distribution, t-test, ANOVA, Tukey Test to determine differences between variables were reviewed. According to the results obtained, in addition to job satisfaction and motivation-enhancing practices, other measures that can be foreseen to be taken by health institution administrations were summarized at the end of the study.
