Abstract:

In this study, the class teachers who study the first, second and third classes have studied whether their attitudes towards the life knowledge teaching course and whether they differ according to gender, professional background, the number of students they study, the state of the province they perform, the state of study. In accordance with the sub-purpose of the research, the screening model of cutting from the scanning models was used. The examples of the study consist of 131 class teachers who work in 3 private and 16 state primary schools located in Yenice, Çan, Biga districts and Çanakkale/Central districts. The research data have been collected with the "Life Information Teaching Attitude Scale" developed by Sarıkaya, Özgöl and Yılar (2017) and the "Personal Information Form" developed by the researcher. Class teachers' "Love", "Value" "Attention" sub-factor attitude points and life knowledge teaching attitude overall total points have not been determined meaningful difference between gender, professional backgrounds, class presence they study. The class teachers' "Love" sub-factor attitude points are determined a significant difference according to the places where they perform the task; the "Valuation" sub-factor attitude points and the life knowledge teaching overall total attitude points do not show a significant difference according to the places where they perform the task.
