Abstract:

The coronavirus (Covid-19) which appeared in China at the end of 2019 and began to be called a pandemic, affecting almost the entire world with a great rapidity, has also been influential on educational systems and practices, as in different industries. These rapidly developing events and the suddenly changing understanding of education-learning make the study of the corona viral pandemic’s influence on education and the study of distance learning important. In this context, the purpose of this research is to reveal the views of the teachers of basic education on remote education passed during the corona viral pandemic process. The research was done using the quality research method. The research work group has been formed by six teachers who work in the Basic Education Department associated with the Faculty of Education of the Nine-May University, which simultaneously conducted distance learning activities. At the time of the work group is used the maximum variety of sampling types for the purpose. The data was collected with a semi-constructed interview form prepared by the researchers and given the latest status with the expert opinion. Imaginary analysis techniques are used in the analysis of data. The research findings were given around four main topics in the form of the advantages of the distance learning process, the disadvantages of the distance learning process, the methods of solving the problems faced by teachers and the recommendations for making distance learning efficient. Accordingly, teachers have seen more than their views on the advantages of their disadvantages in the field of teaching-learning process, communication-interaction and measurement-evaluation, they have taken advantage of various methods to solve their problems and have made constructive suggestions to make the process more efficient. The findings were discussed in the light of the relevant literature, and various suggestions were brought in this direction.
