Bu çalışmada, Mehmed Bin Pûlâd’ın “Terceme-i Yûsuf u Züleyhâ” adlı mensur eserin tanıtılması amaçlanmıştır. Mehmed Bin Pûlâd tarafından Farsçadan Türkçeye çevrilen bu mensur bir eserin bilinen tek nüshası bulunmaktadır. Eserin son sayfalarında telif tarihi H. 516 olarak yazılmasına karşılık eserde geçiş dönemi eserlerine benzer özellikler bulunmaktadır. Eski Anadolu Türkçesinin dil özellikleri görülen eserde kısmen Doğu Türkçesi ve Azerbaycan Türkçesi özelliklerine de rastlanılmıştır. Gerek Türk edebiyatında gerekse Doğu edebiyatlarında en çok işlenen ve sevilen Yusuf ve Züleyha hikâyelerinin güzel örneklerinden biri olan bu eser, aynı zamanda sade nesir dilinin bir örneği olması açısından da önemlidir.
In this work, Muhammad bin Pûlâd’s “Terceme-i Yûsuf u Züleyhâ” is intended to be a member of the work. This is the only knowledge of this human work translated from Persian to Turkish by Mehmed Bin Pûlâd. The last pages of the work are similar to the transitional works in the work in response to the writing of the authorship date H. 516. The language characteristics of the ancient Anadolu Turkish have been seen in the work, partly in the characteristics of the Eastern Turkish and Azerbaijan Turkish. This work, which is one of the beautiful examples of the stories of Yusuf and Züleyha, which are the most processed and loved in the Eastern literature, is also important in terms of being an example of the simple generation language.
