Koronavirüs Dünya Sağlık Örgütünce 11 Mart 2020’de pandemi ilan edilen küresel bir salgındır ve bu süreçte stresle baş etme bu salgınla mücadelede özellikle sağlık çalışanları için son derece önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada amaç demografik özellikler ile Stresle Başa Çıkma Tarzları arasında Koronavirüs sürecinde var olan ilişkiyi Bitlis Devlet Hastanesindeki sağlık meslek mensuplarında inceleyerek kamuda koronavirüs sürecinde demografik özellikler ve Stresle Başa Çıkma Tarzları arasındaki bağlantıyı ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaca yönelik olarak literatür taraması ve nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda katılımcıların genel olarak her demografik özellik ve alt gruplarında stresle başa çıkma tarzlarının koronavirüsle mücadele ortamına rağmen anlamlı şekilde yüksek olduğu, ancak bazı yaklaşımlar ve alt gruplar açısından etkisiz yöntemler kullanıyor oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır.

Abstract:

The coronavirus is a global epidemic that was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020 and coping with stress in this process is extremely important especially for healthcare professionals in the fight against this epidemic. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between demographic characteristics and the ways of coping with stress in the healthcare professionals at Bitlis State Hospital and to reveal the connection between the demographic characteristics and the styles of coping with stress in the public in the coronavirus process. For this purpose, literature review and scanning method, one of the quantitative research methods, were used. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the way of coping with stress in all demographic characteristics and subgroups of the participants in general was significantly higher despite the fight against coronavirus, however, it is appeared that they are using ineffective methods in terms of some approaches and subgroups.
