Abstract:

From the existence of the universe to this day, death has been an inevitable part of life for a human or any living being. Thro history, man has tried to perceive and understand the fact of death. As the forms of death can be different depending on the socio-cultural structure of the society found, the forms of perception and expression of death by society have also shown differences. According to some beliefs, “death” means the separation of the soul from the body, the end of life activities and the absolute end, while according to some beliefs, it means the beginning of a real and eternal life. Since ancient times, the man who cannot escape the fact that he will surely die one day, has been held to the belief that after death is life to accept this situation and to continue his daily life. This belief has continued to exist over time in different cultures and in different religions such as Buddhism, Christianity, Muslimism and Islamism. In the 19th century, one of the most important examples of Central Asian Turkish historical literature written by Muhammad Yusuf Beyani (1840-1923) was the establishment of the Harezm Hanish in Shecere-i Harezmshahi and the military, political, cultural, social events that occurred after, the throne struggles, flights, wars and lives of the houses. Shecere-i Harezmshahî Harezm was an important ruler and historical book in terms of describing historical events that occurred in the late 17th century and early 20th century with all its details. In this case, it is clear that the knowledge of the Qur’an was revealed in the Qur’an. Then, through the concept of "death" in the Shecere-i Harezmashahi text, which forms the basis of our work, we tried to explain the forms of death and the expressions used for "death".
