The university study and settlement houses important memories that are unforgettable in the student life. In recent years, in the university selection by students, social living areas, parks and gardens located in the university campus have begun to be ranked as an important shortcut. In this study, the impact of the parks, squares, grasshouses, open green spaces made of treening which is owned by the University of Isparta Suleyman Demirel on the quality of life of students and staff was studied. Thus, in accordance with the opinions of staff and students, the open green spaces and parks located in the campus have been determined in terms of functionality, equipment and plant elements, their qualifications and satisfaction levels. In addition, according to the existing situation, recommendations have been made to increase the level of use and satisfaction of the missing or needed landscape design practices in relation to recreation work that can be done. In the study, the opinions of 502 people were collected using the survey technique. The data obtained was analyzed using the statistical package program (SPSS 20) and the statistical analysis was measured at 0.05 level of significance. The evaluation of the data obtained by the survey technique used the Independent Samples Test (Independent Samples Test) and the One Way Varians Test (One Way Anova). The Duncan test was conducted to determine which differences arise from the group. In addition to these tests, it has been used by the frequency and percentage analysis to provide illustrative information. As a result, Suleyman Demirel University open green spaces and parks have been found to improve the quality of life of staff and students.

In this study, the effects of parks, squares, lawns, afforestation and open green areas of Isparta Süleyman Demirel University on the quality of life of students and staff were investigated. Thus, in line with the opinions of staff and students, the functional status of the open green areas and parks on the campus, their adequacy in terms of equipment and plant elements, and the satisfaction levels of the users were determined. In addition, according to the current situation determined, suggestions were made in order to increase the utilization and satisfaction levels by implementing the missing or needed landscape design applications in terms of recreation activities. The opinions of 502 people were collected by using questionnaire technique. The data were analyzed by using statistical package program (SPSS 20) and 0.05 significance level was taken as a criterion in statistical analysis. Independent Samples Test and One Way Anova Test were used in the evaluation of the data obtained from the questionnaire technique. Duncan test was used to find out which group was the difference. In addition to these tests, frequency and percentage analysis were used to provide descriptive information. As a result, it was determined that open green areas and parks of Süleyman Demirel University improve the quality of life of staff and students.
