Araştırmada ergenlerin duygusal özerklik ve yaşam doyumlarının bağlanma stilleri açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında Konya ilinin merkez ilçelerinde bulunan özel ve devlet okullarında eğitim gören 513 öğrenci ile veri toplama işlemi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu verilerini elde etmek için “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri -Ⅱ Orta Çocukluk Dönemi Ölçeği”, “Duygusal Özerklik Ölçeği” ve “Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Bağlanma stilleri ölçeğinin alt boyutlarından kaygı boyutu ile duygusal özerklik ölçeğinin bağımsızlık, bireyleşme ve idealleştirmeme alt boyutları arasında negatif yönde düşük düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Bağlanma stilleri ölçeğinin alt boyutlarından kaçınma alt boyutu ile duygusal özerklik ölçeğinin bağımsızlık, bireyleşme ve idealleştirmeme alt boyutları arasında orta düzeyde negatif yönde anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu görülmüştür. Kaygı ve kaçınma alt boyutları ile duygusal özerklik ölçeği toplam puanı ve yaşam doyumu ölçeği toplam puanı arasında negatif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı ilişkinin olduğu sonu elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada kaçınma alt boyutu duygusal özerkliğin anlamlı yordayıcısı olarak belirlenmiştir. Benzer şekilde kaçınma boyutu duygusal özerklik ölçeğinin bağımsızlık, bireyleşme ve idealleştirmeme alt boyutları içinde yordayıcı olarak belirlenmiştir. Yaşam doyumu puanının yordanmasında ise kaygı ve kaçınma alt boyutlarının anlamlı yordayılar olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of the study was to examine the emotional autonomy and life satisfaction of adolescents in terms of attachment styles. For this purpose, data collection was carried out with 513 students studying in private and public schools in the central districts of Konya in the 2019-2020 academic year. "Personal Information Form", "Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory -Ⅱ Middle Childhood Scale", "Emotional Autonomy Scale" and "Life Satisfaction Scale" were used to obtain the study group data of the research. A negative and low-level significant relationship was found between the anxiety dimension, which is one of the sub-dimensions of the attachment styles scale, and the independence, individuation and non-idealization sub-dimensions of the emotional autonomy scale. It was observed that there was a moderately negative and significant relationship between the sub-dimensions of the attachment styles scale of avoidance and the sub-dimensions of independence, individuation and non-idealization of the emotional autonomy scale. It was concluded that there was a moderately significant negative correlation between anxiety and avoidance sub-dimensions and emotional autonomy scale total score- life satisfaction scale total score. In the study, the avoidance sub-dimension was determined as a significant predictor of emotional autonomy. Similarly, the avoidance dimension was determined as a predictor of the independence, individuation and non-idealization sub-dimensions of the emotional autonomy scale as well. Anxiety and avoidance sub-dimensions were found to be significant predictors of life satisfaction score.
