Introduction: The aim of this study is to detect knowledge and attitudes of the complementary and alternative medicine of the among the Celal Bayar University, Faculty of Medicine pre-clinical students and to reveal the factors that affect it. By this way, it will be contributed to the accumulation of knowledge of the students, importance and necessity of the inclusion of the curriculum, and complementary and alternative medicine topics which are increasingly discussed in scientific platforms. Method: This is a cross-sectional study which is done with the students in medical school in the periods between 1, 2 and 3, in January - March in 2012-13 academic years. The questionnaire of which has been prepared with the advantage of literature is consists of three parts including issues of information about complementary and alternative medicine, attitude and approach. Before the study, a pilot study was conducted on a group of 30 people and then the necessary correction has been done on the polls forms. The generated questionnaire forms were distributed to the participating volunteer students and collected 48 hours after the back. Research the scope is composed of 475 members and 325 students volunteered to participate in the survey. Results: For the most well-known methods of the complementary and alternative medicine stands out as massage (88.3%) and herbal medicine (84.4%) among the participants of 129 men and 196 women. The most commonly used methods among students are, 54.8% of herbal treatment and the 51.1% of spirituality-dua. 62.5% of the participants stated that they want to take the training about herbal treatment and 61.2% in hypnosis. Discussion and Consequence: After the study, it has been detected that the students are interested in about the complementary and alternative medicine methods and are inadequate knowledge and experience, so they want to place course curriculum about these, from the faculty
