Bu araştırmanın amacı metaforlar aracılığıyla temel eğitim öğretmen adaylarının dramaya ilişkin algılarını belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, okul öncesi ve sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının dramanın hangi bileşenini veya özelliğini ön plana çıkardığı ürettikleri metaforlar yoluyla incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan olgu bilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu bir devlet üniversitesinde öğretmenlik eğitimleri sürecinde drama eğitimi almış olan 57 Okul öncesi ve 50 Sınıf Öğretmenliği öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarına “Drama, dramada öğretmen, dramada çocuk/öğrenci, dramada aksesuar/materyal, dramada planlama, dramada oyun …………………… gibidir, Çünkü………………” soruları sorulmuş ve adaylardan cevap vermeleri istenmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının ürettikleri metaforlar incelenerek kategorileştirilmiş ve kategoriler yüzde ve frekanslar halinde verilmiştir. Bu bağlamda drama kavramına yönelik 46, dramada öğretmen kavramına yönelik 47, dramada çocuk/öğrenci kavramına yönelik 60, dramada aksesuar/materyal kavramına yönelik 62, dramada planlama kavramına yönelik 72, dramada oyun kavramına yönelik ise 73 metafor tespit edilmiştir. Metaforlar incelendiğinde genel olarak olumlu ifadeler kullanıldığı görülmektedir.
The purpose of this research is to determine the perceptions of the candidates for the teachers of the basic education about the drama through the metaphors. For this purpose, pre-school and class teacher candidates have been studied through the metaphors they produce which components or characteristics of the drama are highlighted. In the research, one of the quality research patterns of the fact scientific design was used. The study group consists of 57 pre-school and 50 class teaching teachers candidates who have received drama training in the teaching training process at a state university. In the study, the teacher candidates were asked the questions "Drama, Drama teacher, Drama child/student, Drama accessories/material, Drama planning, Drama game ........................" and asked the candidates to answer the questions. The metaphors produced by the teacher candidates were categorized by study and categories were given in percentages and frequencies. In this context, the concept of drama is 46, the concept of teacher in the drama is 47, the concept of child/student in the drama is 60, the concept of accessory/material in the drama is 62, the concept of planning in the drama is 72, and the concept of play in the drama is 73 metaphors. When metaphors are studied, generally positive expressions are used.
