20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren siyaset felsefesi büyük bir canlanma içerisine girdi. Sadece olguları ele alan ve ampirik yanı ağır basan siyaset yazını geriledikçe bireyin hakları, totalitarizm, adalet, meşruluk, özgürlük ve eşitlik gibi meseleler etik politik ve reel politik düzeyde daha fazla tartışılır oldu. Benzeri bir gelişme liberalizm içerisinde de yaşandı. Adalet teorileri, insan haklarına yapılan yoğun atıflar ve bu bağlamda doğal hukuk düşüncesinde yaşanan Rönesans siyasal aktör ve yorumcuların önüne yeni bir manzara koydu.
Since the second half of the 20th century, political philosophy has entered a great revival. As the political text that only deals with the facts and the empirical side is heavy, issues such as individual rights, totalitarism, justice, legitimacy, freedom and equality have become more debated at the ethical political and real political level. A similar development has also occurred in the liberalism. The theories of justice, the intense references to human rights and the thought of natural law in this context, the Renaissance put a new perspective in front of political actors and interpreters.
