Lise Öğretmenlerinin İş Doyumu ve Mesleki Motivasyon Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı lise öğretmenlerinin mesleki motivasyonlarının iş doyum düzeylerini yordayıcılığını ve öğretmenlerin iş doyumu ve motivasyon düzeylerinin bazı demografik özelliklere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemektir. Betimsel tarama modelinde olan araştırmanın evrenini Ankara ili Altındağ ve Mamak ilçelerindeki liselerde 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında görev yapan lise öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise Altındağ ve Mamak ilçelerinde bulunan liselerde görev yapan lise öğretmenlerinden tesadüfî örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 290 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veriler, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” “Minnesota İş Doyum Ölçeği” ve “Motivasyon Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde t-testi, ANOVA, Pearson Korelasyon ve aşamalı çoklu regresyon teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretmenlerin iş doyum düzeyleri cinsiyetlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermezken, yaşlarına, kıdemlerine ve lisans mezuniyetlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir. Öğretmenlerin mesleki motivasyon düzeyleri cinsiyetlerine ve kıdemlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermezken, yaşlarına ve lisans mezuniyetlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir. Lise öğretmenlerinin mesleki motivasyon alt boyutlarının iş doyumu düzeylerini yordadığı belirlenmiştir.

High School Teachers' Job Rate and Professional Motivation Levels

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine whether high school teachers' professional motivation is inherent in work satisfaction levels and whether their work satisfaction and motivation levels differ according to some demographic characteristics. The universe of the research in the visual scan model is formed by high school teachers who have worked in the 2016-2017 educational year in the high schools in the districts of Altındağ and Mamak in Ankara. The study’s sample consists of 290 teachers chosen by random sample method from high school teachers in the districts of Altındağ and Mamak. The data is collected with "Personal Information Form" and "Minnesota Business Doyum Scale" and "Motivation Scale". In the analysis of the data, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation and phase multiple regression techniques have been used. According to the findings obtained from the analysis, teachers’ job satisfaction levels do not differ significantly by gender, while they do show a significant difference by age, age and graduation. While teachers' professional motivation levels do not make significant differences according to their gender and age, they make significant differences according to their age and graduation. High school teachers have been determined that the professional motivation of the subdimensions of work satisfaction levels.

Abstract:

This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and motivation levels of high school teachers and also to find out whether the satisfaction and motivation levels are changing. This study has been conducted in relational survey model and the study group was consisted of 290 high school teachers who work in Ankara in 2016-2017 education and training year. Data were collected with “Personal Form”“Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale” and “Motivation Scale.” T-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and regression analysis techniques were used for analysis. The results show that gender and working duration in the same school have no significance in teachers’ job satisfaction levels. But the teachers’ age, tenure and graduation have a positive effect on the job satisfaction level of teachers. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that sub dimensions of occupational motivation explained the job satisfaction levels of teachers to some extent.
