Özet:

This research was done with the purpose of examing the importance giyen to the health by the candidates of teachers and of the strategies of copeing with the behaviours of healthy-living style is a descriptiue study. The sample is composed of the students of Ege University, University School of Physical Training n-42 , The Faculty Turkish Language and Literature n=31 and The History n-31 , Psychology n=30 and Sociology n= 28 Departrnents of The Faculty of Letters Ege University as total 162 students. In the study, "The Scale of the Irnportance of Hecilth», "The Scale of the Behaviours of the Healthy-Living Style" adapted by Esin 1997 , and "The Scale of The Strategies of Overwhelming" is adapted by Aysan 1994 , and a personal questionnaire deueloped by the researchers have been used. The Behaviours of the Healthy-Living Style scale's alpha reliability coeffıcient is r=, 9212 the Strategies of Overwhelming scale's alpha reliability coefficient is r=,8400. The data were analysed by Correlation, anova, and t and Duncan tests vere conducted. According to the resutts of the research there isn't a meaningfull difference to the paris on the importance giyen to the health. However, it's determined that the habits of healthy life style of the students of Physical Training and Sport College of Agean University and Psychology Department are stronger.
