The main purpose of this research is to determine the attitudes of the students in Business Administration Department of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences towards operations research course and examining the effects of gender, graduated high school type, type of taking the course (first or repeat). In accordance with this purpose, a survey was conducted on 286 students, including third grade, fourth grade and extended students, and 221 of the surveys were evaluated as appropriate. The scale used in the survey was adapted from the statistical attitude scales developed by the researchers. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, independent sample t-test and one way analysis of variance were applied with SPSS 22 package to the obtained data. Findings reveal that the students' attitude towards the course of instruction is in the negative direction.
