Abstract:

For centuries in the Kyrgyz history, they have shaped their own folk philosophy, ethnopsychology and lifestyle with the beliefs left from their parents. These beliefs have found their place in their daily lives as an important part of the riddles. The Kyrgyz people lived in ancient times with beliefs such as fetishism, totemism, shamanism and the latter Sky Tengricism. After the Islamic religion, his beliefs changed. But it is also known that some of the ancient beliefs have been forgotten. We can see many beliefs clearly from Kyrgyz literature, philosophy and daily life. The majority of the people’s beliefs have reached the age of old people and Kyrgyz nationals, Manas Destanı. These were transmitted from mouth to mouth to the next generations, and with the flow of time they became people's belief. Today, there are many people who have faith. But in this study we discussed some popular beliefs and their effects on the people who are actively living among the people. Some of them are: beliefs about having multiple and children, beliefs about the ad, beliefs about the color of the ac (white), the grave, the Umay Mother, the Albarst (Albasty) and so on.
