Deyimler çoğunlukla ne zaman ortaya çıktığı bilinmeyen, halkın ortak ürünü olan kalıplaşmış yapılardır. Deyimlerin bünyesinde tarihî dönemlerde kalmış, günümüzde unutulmuş kelimelerle karşılaşmak ihtimal dâhilindedir. Ayrıca deyimler standart dilde kullanılmayan, sadece ağızlarda yaşayan kelimeleri de ihtiva edebilir. Ağızlarda yaşayan deyimlerin daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için ihtiva ettikleri kelimelerin de muhataplar tarafından biliniyor olması gerekmektedir. Söz konusu gereklilikten hareketle Alanya yöresi ağızlarında kullanılan 1500 civarında deyim taranmış ve standart Türkiye Türkçesinde kullanılmayan 65 kelime incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Alanya yöresinde kullanılan deyimler hususunda Tevfik Hacıhamdioğlu tarafından hazırlanan Alanya Ağzından Esintiler adlı eser kaynak alınmıştır. İncelenen kelimelerin tespit edilebildiği ölçüde kökenleri gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca ilgili kelimelerin Eski Türkçe, Eski Anadolu Türkçesi, Osmanlı Türkçesi ve Türkiye Türkçesinin diğer ağızlarında tanıkları olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda 65 kelimenin 11 tanesinin Arapça, 4 tanesinin Farsça, 4 tanesinin ise Yunanca olduğu görülmüştür. 7 kelimenin kökeniyle ilgili herhangi bir veri bulunamamıştır. Geriye kalan 39 kelimenin Türkçe olduğu düşünülmektedir. 10 kelimenin Derleme Sözlüğü’nde yer almadığı; 2 kelimenin Derleme Sözlüğü’nde bulunmasına rağmen farklı bir anlamı olduğu görülmüştür. 11 kelimenin doğrudan Eski Türkçe döneminde tanığı tespit edilmiştir.
Thoughts are mostly unknown when they appear, shaped structures, which are a common product of the people. It is possible to meet the words that have remained in historical periods and are forgotten today. Also, phrases may also contain words that are not used in the standard language, only living in the mouth. The words that they contain in their mouths must also be known by the interlocutors. According to this requirement, about 1,500 sentences used in the mouths of the Alanya area have been scanned and 65 words not used in the standard Turkish language have been examined. The sources of the examined words are shown to the extent that they can be identified. The study found that 11 of the 65 words were in Arabic, 4 in Persian, and 4 in Greek. There is no information about the origins of the 7 words. The remaining 39 words are Turkish. 10 words are not listed in the Assembly Dictionary; although 2 words are in the Assembly Dictionary, it has a different meaning. 11 words were identified as witnesses directly in the ancient Turkish era.
