Abstract:

Proverbs with small but rich content shades in form are investigated in the article. It is known that the proverbs are sayings coming from the thoughts, ideas and speech of all Oghuz people, our great ancestors. And these sayings reflect the people's feelings, thoughts, culture in themselves. Along with these ideas, the educational importance of Proverbs is also great. In the article the educational significance of a number of Proverbs is examined, their role in human life is determined. At the same time, the special influence of Proverbs on the growth, comprehensive development and correct formation of the child in the national spirit was noted. Besides, Proverbs, which at first glance seem to contradict each other, were also involved in the research, relevant analyzes were conducted. It has become known that such proverbs express separate meanings, although they cause certain confusion in children. The article also investigates the importance given to the teaching of proverbs in schools and how to use modern teaching methods and techniques for its good mastering. It turned out that in order to achieve a good result, the teacher should take into account the age limit of children and choose suitable proverbs for them. If attention is paid to what is said, the teacher will have the result set before him. During the research, a number of new, interesting scientific results were obtained.
