Neck injuries are less common than body injuries in general practice. Considering neck's position and its function, injury's status can differ up to life threatening conditions. In this study, a 68 year old man with penetrating neck trauma after got hit by a falling construction rebar from above of his neck is presented. The physical and radiological evaluation, the rebar was seen entering from right occipital region and following a deep cruising under the platysma and exiting at sternocleidomastoid muscle's bottom 1/3 part. Patients were evaluated multidisciplinary and were operated to remove the foreign body. The patients who has any complications in his postoperative periods and who was discharged with recommendations. We aimed to share a rare seen work accident case of penetrating neck injury caused by construction rebar in our study.
