Abstract:

With this research, it is aimed to structurally examine the postgraduate theses written on nomophobia. The study was carried out using document analysis method. As a universe all theses including the subject of "nomophobia" were taken from the theses published in the "Thesis Center" section of the official web page of the Education Institution. Theses studied on the subject were examined in terms of the year they were published, the university they were published, the institute they were published in, their academic level, the research method, the research model, the type of the sampling, the study group or the population/sample definition, data collection tools and data analysis methods. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the number of theses on nomophobia has increased in the last two years. Theses on nomophobia were mostly done in social sciences institutes and graduate level by quantitative research method. When the theses were examined in terms of study group or population / sample, it was found that mostly "simple random" sampling was used and higher education and secondary education students were selected as the study group. It has been determined that ANOVA is mostly used as a data analysis method.
