Özet:

The evaluation of medical education by students has an important place in monitoring their education programs. To this end, questionnaires were prepared by the academicians who were in charge of the assessment committee and started to be implemented starting from the academic year 2015-2016. The aim of this study was to determine the results of the course board surveys applied to the Phase2 students of the Faculty of Medicine during the academic year 2015-2016. The data were obtained by using a questionnaire. The questionnaire contained both multiple-choice and open-ended questions. Questionnaires were applied to determine the level of satisfaction with the course committee's objectives and learning objectives, the course schedule and subject content, the physical conditions of the classrooms and laboratories, the use of visual and auditory instruments, the theoretical and practical course content, and communication with the faculty members. 61.9% of the students in Phase2 participated in the study. According to the results of the questionnaire, the highest satisfaction scores belonged to the items related to the compliance with the curriculum, the content and the order of the lessons of the course and the adequacy and instructiveness of the number of theoretical courses. The lowest scores belonged to the items related to the physical conditions of the classrooms / laboratories. However, while this complaint was more common in the first two boards, in the third board there was a decrease in the complaints due to moving into new classrooms and laboratories. Moreover, according to the answers given to open-ended questions, students wanted to reach lecture notes and presentations before the lessons. Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Medical Faculty Phase2 students were satisfied with the academic activities related to the course boards.
