Bu çalışmanın amacı pedagojik formasyon eğitimi sertifika programına ve eğitim fakültesine devam eden öğretmen adaylarının çocuk sevme düzeylerinin öğretme motivasyonlarını yordama gücünü incelemektir. Çalışma Akdeniz bölgesinde bir kamu üniversitesine devam eden 206 eğitim fakültesi ve aynı fakültenin pedagojik formasyon eğitimi sertifika programına devam eden 207 formasyon öğrencisi ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada genel tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Veriler “Çocuk Sevme Ölçeği” ve “Öğretme Motivasyonu Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda içsel öğretme motivasyonunu çocuk sevme ve öğrenim görülen program türünün, dışsal öğretme motivasyonunu ise öğrenim görülen program türünün anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı bulunmuştur. Araştırmada pedagojik formasyon eğitimi sertifika programına devam eden öğretmen adaylarının çocuk sevme, içsel ve dışsal motivasyon düzeylerinin eğitim fakültesine devam eden öğretmen adaylarından anlamlı ve pozitif yönde daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this study is to study the capacity of teachers candidates who continue to the pedagogical formation education certificate program and the educational faculty to support the teaching motivations of children’s level of love. The study was carried out with 206 educational faculty continuing to a public university in the Mediterranean region and 207 educational students continuing to the educational training certificate program of the same faculty. Relative scanning models from general scanning models were used in the study. The data is collected with the "Child Love Scale" and "Teaching Motivation Scale". The research has found that the inner teaching motivation of the kind loves and the kind of program is seen as learning, and the external teaching motivation of the kind of program is seen as learning. The research has found that teachers candidates who continue to the educational formation certificate program have a higher level of child love, internal and external motivation than teachers candidates who continue to the educational faculty in a meaningful and positive direction.
This study aimed to investigate the predictive power of fondness for children on teaching motivation of teacher candidates who take pedagogical formation courses or attend faculty of education. The study was conducted with 206 students who attended the faculty of education at a public university in the Mediterranean region and 207 students attending the formation program of the same faculty. Data were collected with “Fondness for Children Scale” and “Teaching Motivation Scale”. As a result of the study, it was found that type of program enrolled and fondness for children significantly predicted intrinsic teaching motivation while type of program enrolled significantly predicted ex̄trinsic teaching motivation. It was concluded that levels fondness for children and the intrinsic and ex̄trinsic motivation of teacher candidates who attended the formation program at the faculty of education were significantly higher than those of teacher candidates who attended the faculty of education.
