Bu araştırmanın amacı, 1998 ve 2006 lisans programları doğrultusunda öğrenim gören sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının vatandaşlık bilgisi öğretiminde kullanılan bazı kavramları anlama düzeyleri arasındaki farklılığı ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma 2008–2009 eğitim öğretim yılında Gazi Üniversitesi, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıflarında okuyan toplam 244 öğretmen adayıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada betimsel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda veri toplama aracı olarak vatandaşlık bilgisi öğretiminde kullanılan toplam 10 kavramı içeren anketten yararlanılmıştır. Anketten elde edilen veriler SPSS 10.0 paket programı yardımıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının vatandaşlık bilgisi öğretiminde kullanılan bazı kavramları öğrenmesinde lisans programı türünün etkili olmadığı tespit edilmiştir
the purpose of this research is to reveal the differences between the levels of understanding some concepts used in teaching the citizenship information of teachers candidates who study in 1998 and 2006 undergraduate programs, research 2008–2009 education teaching the gas education faculty of the university in the teaching of the university of the gas education faculty social information teacher was conducted with a total of 244 teacher candidates studying in the third and fourth classes. in this context, data collection tool was used in the survey with the total 10 concept used in teaching citizenship information as a data collection tool. the data obtained from the survey was analyzed by the help of the 100 package program, as a result of the research, the study of the information that there is not effective teaching of the teaching of the type of the educational knowledge of citizens
